The Vegetable Soup This vegetable soup originated from Spain. The word gazpacho is believed to mean "residue" or "fragments", an allusion to the small pieces of bread and vegetables in a gazpacho soup. It's a type of soup that's served cold and is best served in summer when vegetables are the most flavorful.

Gazpacho soup is made of tomatoes, garlic, cucumbers, peppers, and bread moistened with water that is blended with olive oil, vinegar, and ice water. This detox diet recipe is very tasty.

Detox Diet Recipe - Gazpacho Soup Ingredients

  • 3 cups tomatoes, red ripe, seeded and diced
  • 2 cups red bell pepper, diced medium
  • 2 cups red onions, diced medium
  • 1/2 cup celery, diced medium
  • 2 cups cucumber, diced medium
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 2 cups organic vegetable juice
  • pinch cayenne
  • 1 teaspoon cumin

Gazpacho Soup Method

Mix diced tomato, peppers, red onions, celery and cucumber together in a medium bowl. Divide the mixture in half and separate in two bowls.

Add garlic to one of the bowls and empty into blender. Add vinegar to the blender and puree until smooth. Add the vegetable juice, cayenne and cumin to the blender. Blend.

Add the puree to the bowl of diced vegetables. Refrigerate overnight.

Garnish with lemon and cilantro.

Cream less Spinach Soup - Detox diet recipe

Spinach is an excellent source of iron, calcium, vitamins and also contains a sufficient quantity of fiber.

This detox diet recipe also tastes very good.

Cream less Spinach Soup - Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon of virgin oil
  • a cup of medium onion which has been cut
  • 1 teaspoon of chopped garlic
  • 1 cup of carrot which are also already cut
  • 1 cup medium diced leek
  • 1 cup medium diced celery spring of thyme
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 pounds of sliced spinach

Cream less Spinach Soup - Method

Gently fry the garlic for about 2 minutes virgin oil, keep on frying while adding the onions, celery, leeks and carrots on the pot. Add water to this and then add bay leaves & thyme. Wait until it boils and bubbles approximately for an hour. Remove from fire and set to cool for about an hour and then lastly remove the bay leaves and thyme.

Then add the vegetables and the cooled solution in the blender and after adding spinach into it, put it back in the pot. Then cook over gentle heat until you notice that the spinach has faded. Remove from fire immediately so that you do not overcook the spinach.

Two Day Apple Cleanse Detox Diet Recipe

Eat nothing but apples, any variety, whenever you are hungry from the time you awake until the time you usually have dinner (usually 3-5).  Drink plenty of water throughout the day as well.

  • Although apples are a huge benefit to the body, if you do have high blood sugar problems, you may want to substitute the apples with non-sweet vegetables like lettuce, spinach, celery and cucumber.  But opt for apples for better cleansing results.

For Dinner - have a 3-5 oz. serving of lean protein and be sure to include green vegetables as at least 50% of your meal. 

  • Do not eat bread, rice or starchy vegetables, such as potatoes (any kind), corn or artichokes. (See recommended dinner menu's below.)

If you are hungry or need to snack following dinner, eat more apples

  • As an alternate to apples, eat raw vegetables, but do not combine apples & veggies, make it one or the other.  No dips, sauces, eat the veggies raw or steamed.

The 2 day apple cleanse absolutely allows no sweets during this cleanse.  In fact, by midday the sweet cravings should be non-existent. 

Being able to eat whenever you are hungry will keep your body nourished without any sense of hunger.Keep in mind that some cravings can be more of a habit than hunger.
